Good administration goes unnoticed: sign-in works, the backup is there, the printer prints. I take care of this everyday work while keeping security in view – with experience from an environment of more than 2,500 users across 34 sites.
What I take care of
- User and permission management, onboarding and offboarding
- Windows clients and servers, updates and patch management
- Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN and firewall basics (including Fortinet)
- Backup concepts and regular restore tests
- Investigating security incidents: accounts, logs, data exfiltration
- ISO/IEC 27001 gap analysis and readable IT documentation
